Hi there,
We created this page for everyone to view and to get a good idea of the U of U Pagan Society. As a 501(c)3 student and community group from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, we are interested in creating a diverse and inclusive atmosphere for everyone, regardless if they belong to an alternative faith or not. Our motto is “Understanding Through Education. Education Through Experience.” This is built on the idea that, while its great to read books and discuss diverse topics, we want to get out there and learn through experience and practical application. Rituals, having guest speakers, community service and crafting activities are a few of the activities we do to expand our knowledge and universe. We want to build a better community, better nation and world.
We Currently Serve as the pagan student group for the following colleges: Utah College of Massage Therapy, Weber State University and Salt Lake Community College.
If you are interested in learning more about an alternative faith, would like to meet other college students and local pagans, then please join the U of U Pagan Society!
UUPS is a DBA of the Open Mind Foundation

Hi,
I was wondering if there are certain requirements to join, I have been wanting to join some sort of group so I can learn so if you guys can help I would be more than happy to attend.
Thanks,
ms
Hi MS
There are no certain requirements to join, except filling out a membership form and paying the $5.00 due. One of the officers will talk with you for a minute and two to make sure you “fit” the group, meaning just that you haven’t come to curse everyone and wreak havoc by calling down lightening bolts on us!! We would love to have you! Please join us this Saturday at the Beehive Tearoom. If not, we will be tabling all this week on the U campus in the afternoon hours around 12 at the student union.
Blessed Be.
Daniel C
